Here are a few of the pictures from Lola's 1 yr photo shoot. She is so cute but man, once we gave her that sucker she was a true stinker and kept turning her back to me. I think she thought I would take it away...

Good to meet you ____, I just spent $24.73 on quite a bit of average food. BUT, I would LOVE to spend at LEAST that on YOU, next week. OR we could keep it simple and spend $4.53 on some frozen yogurt and a scooter ride :)
Anyway, your smile is perfect and your friends probably are too. Do you think I am cute?

Lola turns 1
Today was perfect!
Kara had a wonderful party planned with cake, ice cream, and a pinata for the kids. It was a beautiful day to celebrate Lola and spend time together at the park. There were 3 cakes, 1 chocolate, 1 vanilla, and 1 just for baby Lola
Lola sure seems to love her Pops. He was so good with her and just walked and talked to her whenever she got fussy
Aunt Pat made this cute hat. Lola had so much fun putting it on and taking it off
Hutch, your baby is growing up. Thank you for sending her down to us. We will do our best to spoil her rotten.

Its spring, right?!
Just last week we were all outside enjoy the warm sun. Bubbles are a huge hit (especially since I almost never let the kids out of the courtyard to ride their Bikes, this is my way of bribing them)
Austin also had a great time running circles around me and never once looking away from me as I took his picture, you could say he is a bit of a ham.

But then we all knew it wouldn't last. It is still spring and that means snow!!! And man this last storm was crazy. Lightning and snow at the same time...think its a first for me. So while Austin took his nap, James got to go enjoy the fresh powder. He wanted to show me how to make a snow angel...
He seemed to really enjoy eating the snow..and since it was fresh, I just captured the moment. Pretty dang cute if you ask me!

OK, so the best part of this day was the outfit we had to put James in. The Taylor's are moving and packed up most everything last weekend, including James' ski clothes. We found Austin's (age 2) pants, James' boots and hat, Haley's Jacket, and a random pair of mittens. Haha, he was ready for the flood but seriously those little legs had to be cold. I only last 5 mins while I took the pics, I guess kids just want to play!

Color Festival

We started our day by hitting up target and buying white sweatshirts, argyle tube socks, colorful sunglasses, and fanny packs. We really only wanted to get pretty colors of powder thrown on us like pinks and purples but we knew we couldn't be picky. We thought taking the shuttle would be a good idea but it was slow and we missed the start of the festival. By the time we got there they were out of color so we never got to throw it but we sure got hit! We were smart enough to bring a change of clothes so when we got back to the car we cleaned up and then headed to Paradise Bakery. All in all I would say it was a great day and we learned a lot so next year will be even better

For those that dont know what the Color Festival is: In India, Holi announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. People bury their hatchets with a warm embrace and throw their worries to the wind. Every nook and corner presents a colorful sight. Young and old alike are covered with colorsThe color, noise and entertainment that accompanies the celebration of Holi bears witness to a feeling of oneness and sense of brotherhood. The festival brings home the lesson of spiritual and social harmony!!

This is HILARIOUS
I feel like this could've been left on my very own voicemail. Some guys just never cease to amaze me. Im still laughing at this as I type.
The story is this: a girl was out with friends having drinks on King St (in Toronto). This guy approaches her and won't leave her alone -saying how cute she is. She finally gives in and hands the guy her business card to get rid of him.
The attached is an MP3 file of not one, but TWO voicemails this guy left. This goes down in the history books - especially the second voice mail.
