Lola turns 1

Today was perfect!
Kara had a wonderful party planned with cake, ice cream, and a pinata for the kids. It was a beautiful day to celebrate Lola and spend time together at the park. There were 3 cakes, 1 chocolate, 1 vanilla, and 1 just for baby LolaLola sure seems to love her Pops. He was so good with her and just walked and talked to her whenever she got fussy
Kara and Lola blowing out the candle
I was worried Kara was gonna eat Lola's whole cake. It did look yummy but only a mom can really enjoy cake after her child has smashed it :)

Lola was so cute! When she realized she was allowed to eat and play in the cake, that it was just for her she couldn't stop smiling

Kara, you are absolutely beautiful! You are the best mom and I love you

Once Lola was done, she let us know! NO MORE CAKE

Aunt Pat made this cute hat. Lola had so much fun putting it on and taking it off

All in all it was a perfect day. Lola was happy and just looked so pretty and grown up. The day I held her I fell in love and it hasn't changed. Maybe it is the love I have for her father but Lola will always mean the world to me.
Hutch, your baby is growing up. Thank you for sending her down to us. We will do our best to spoil her rotten.

Guinevere Josephine

While I was on my cruise my cousin Paul, and his wife Ali had a beautiful baby girl. When mom was in town I finally got the chance to meet her. She is adorable and both parents seem pretty smitten.

I just love those cheeks!!!
Once again, without nieces of my own, I think I will have to adopt her and spoil her rotten. Now if only I was down in provo more often

Its spring, right?!

Just last week we were all outside enjoy the warm sun. Bubbles are a huge hit (especially since I almost never let the kids out of the courtyard to ride their Bikes, this is my way of bribing them)
Austin also had a great time running circles around me and never once looking away from me as I took his picture, you could say he is a bit of a ham.

But then we all knew it wouldn't last. It is still spring and that means snow!!! And man this last storm was crazy. Lightning and snow at the same time...think its a first for me. So while Austin took his nap, James got to go enjoy the fresh powder. He wanted to show me how to make a snow angel...
He seemed to really enjoy eating the snow..and since it was fresh, I just captured the moment. Pretty dang cute if you ask me!

OK, so the best part of this day was the outfit we had to put James in. The Taylor's are moving and packed up most everything last weekend, including James' ski clothes. We found Austin's (age 2) pants, James' boots and hat, Haley's Jacket, and a random pair of mittens. Haha, he was ready for the flood but seriously those little legs had to be cold. I only last 5 mins while I took the pics, I guess kids just want to play!

Happy Easter

A little late but I had to post this! Hope you all had a happy easter, ♥ Kari and Beckham
